SUBMISSION PROTOCOL:

(1) Format Your document. Example

(2) Send your document by FTP to the server's working directory: ftp://speedy2.md.huji.ac.il/pub/incoming/ (Netscape users: Click on the "File" button on the menu bar and select "Upload". Then, select your document from your local file system.) When the upload is done you can see your document in the server's working directory.

(3) Fill out the form in the Submission Page. Type the name of the file you have sent. This name has to match with the filename in the working directory.

(4) Type the title of the paper you have sent. Do not use multilingual characters (umlaut or accent).

(5) Type the name of the authors (last name first, initial and midle initial.) Your full name and the institution are supposed to be in your paper's first page.

(6) Select the style of your document. Is it a Paper (including research report and reeview article) or Commentary (response, critique, remarks, etc.)? Check the corresponding box.

(7) Select the type of your submission: Trial or Final submission. It is strongly suggested to select Trial submission first and check the appearence of your document. Select Final only when the format appears to be perfect.

(8) Submit your document by clicking on the Submission button.

(9) The system will show the parameters you have typed. Moreover, it will provide a link to the preview of your document. Click on the preview link and check your document. Also, check the Title and Author page if it is correct. These are the only formal feedback that the system provide you.

(10) Go back to the Submission Page and you have two choices. (i) If the format was appropriate you can select Final as a type of submission and click on the Submission button. (ii) If you want to modify your document you have to do it locally in your computer. In order to do that, save your document first giving a different filename. Then, you have to send your modified document again to the server's working directory under a different filename by following instructions 2 to 10 until you find the format appropriate.

(11) When you submit your document by selecting Final as the type of submission, your document will be converted to html document and will be added to the current table of content. After this point there is no choice of modification and resubmission. Any further modification has to be submitted as a separate Commentary article.

(12) When checking the updated Table of Contents do not forget to click on the "Reload" button of your browser's toolbar. Otherwise your browser shows the previous contents.

(Netscape or Communicator users can click on the "File" button on the menu bar and select "Upload File" after opening the FTP site. Then, select the document you wish to upload from your local file system.)
When the upload is done your document is supposed to be seen in the server's working directory .

For the Table of Content: Give the title and author's names as you wish to appear in the table of content. If the text you submit is a commentary paper, please indicate the title of the original paper in parenthesis.

Check your document using the "Trial" option and turn the "Final" ON only when you are completely satisfied with the format.
